UWF announced grants competition for 2006-2010 winners

Dear participants of First Step to Success Program!

 Ukrainian Women’s Fund launches the grants program

for winners of the years 2006 - 2010!

 

Mini-grants program consists of the following stages:

1. Submitting to the UWF the letter of intent (1 page), where you describe in short the idea of future project, draft action plan of future project, its expected results and total amount of money necessary to implement your idea. Everything should be written clearly, shortly and laconically. The deadline for letter submission is August 15, 2011.
2. Authors of the best ideas will take part in the training on planning, developing and writing proposals and implementing projects, peculiarities of reporting. Previously appointed date – September 5, place – Kyiv. (expenses for participation in the training are reimbursed by organizers).
3. Each of the participants will look in her place for non-governmental organization through which the project will be financed (if necessary we are ready to help find such organization).
4. Preparing the project, filling the application form and sending it to Ukrainian Women's Fund for examination (if necessary - rewriting the proposal)
5. Drawing up documents, transferring money
6. Start of the projects implementation – October 1, 2011.
7. Submitting to the UWF financial and narrative reports on projects implementation.

Financing will be provided for implementing practical, concrete ideas that suppose creative approach, teamwork, solving problems of local communities.

Please, pay attention that maximum amount of grant is 8000 hrn, and maximum project term is 6 months.
