The UWF announces the five days` school for the Program participants in the years 2006-2013

We are happy to inform about a new initiative of Ukrainian Women’s Fund for girls who became the Program winners in previous years and who continue to be engaged in civil society activism.

As you know many times we conducted questionnaires for the network participants to understand their needs and capacities and to know how to make the Program more useful and efficient. We are really grateful to all of girls who shared their thoughts and wishes, we are proud of your achievements and ambitions. Now we are ready to implement new vision of the Program strategy.

For several recent years the girls have acquired new experience, widened their vision and specified their directions of activities. Some of them took responsibility to create own organizations. The UWF thinks important to provide support not only in development of leadership potential of individuals, but support development of youth organizations and communities run by these girls.

We announce the five days’ school for developing organizational capacity of newly-created organizations led by the First Step to Success network participants.

The school will take place in Kyiv on May 30 – June 3, simultaneously with the meeting of 2014 Program winners.

The school agenda includes: trainings on organizational capacity (team-building, organizational development strategy, evaluation of organizational capacity, etc.), master classes on special skills, meetings with donors and experts in different fields of civil society development. Participation in the five days’ school is not only acquiring new knowledge and skills to strengthen your organization, but it is also establishing relationships, networking of young women, who are ready to become leaders in own organizations and develop new state.
