Story of one project, Plyuta Chrtstyna

Women's Perspectives West-Ukrainian Center with support of Ukrainian Women's Fund within the project «Gender education in district schools of Lviv oblast» conducted trainings for students of 9, 10 and 11 grades in schools of general education of two districts in Lviv oblast.

Trainings were conducted according to educational and methodological manual for schools and higher educational institutions on topics: «We are different – we are equal», «Gender is interesting and necessary», «Gender stereotypes are dangerous». 

The trainings included diverse interactive games aimed at changing negative gender stereotypes. Children were active, expressed their opinions about gender stereotypes existing in the society.As a result of the training children concluded that there are numerous stereotypes concerning gende, which prevents us from being unique people

As a result of the project 10 trainings were conducted for students of school s in two districts of Lviv oblast.
